​Governments that have decided to open themselves to the general public today achieve this goal​ through a multitude of channels which enable two-way communication. Methods through which citizens’ voice can be heard are plenty, with social networks and new technologies functioning as the springs propelling the practice of dialogue and listening to the needs of the citizens. We will discuss the channels governments use to achieve efficient communication with the constituency, the manner in which dialogue with the citizens manifests itself in practice, and the ways communication is implemented toward advancement of the society as a whole, with an emphasis on existing methods employed in the region.
